Wednesday, May 21, 2008 Judiciary Committee Members or Oil Company Inquisitors? Apparently the Senate Judiciary Committee would rather interrogate oil company executives than fulfill their constitutional duty to consider the President’s judicial nominations.  This would also suggest that a “good faith commitment” doesn’t mean very much in the U.S. Senate.
