Monday, December 03, 2007 "Clinton-Era Grudge" Obstructs Judicial Nominee As John Fund explains in the Wall Street Journal, it appears Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is holding up the nomination of Judge Jim Rogan to the U.S. District Court because, as a former Congressman, he was one of the House managers who led the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton.  It would be a shame if this kind of petty partisanship derails the confirmation of a qualified judge.
