Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee took a courageous stand by refusing to attend committee meeting on Thursday to protest the Committee’s lack of fairness in dealing with the president’s judicial nominees. No circuit court judges were on the agenda. Also, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell invoked the “two hour rule” for various committees shutting down the Senate for a time.
