The Kemp-Kasten amendment allows the President to restrict federal funds from international organizations deemed to support forced abortion policies.  Thankfully, as reported recently by AdvanceUSA, the Brownback amendment to protect this language passed, albeit by a shockingly close margin.  Since the Kemp-Kasten language was protected President Bush was recently able to prohibit tax-payer dollars from supporting the UNFPA which supports China’s brutal one-child policy.
