Climategate Scandal Could Protect Families from Crushing Tax Increases

Despite the best efforts of the main stream media to ignore the story, the recent “Climategate” global-warming scandal could lead to a dramatic change in public sentiment and government policy on the issue of man-made global warming. Emails taken from a prestigious English university appear to demonstrate that an influential core of conspirators in the science community have intentionally hidden information and propagated climate-change propaganda.

Despite these revelations, the Obama administration is continuing to promote man-made global warming alarmism.

The Climategate scandal could have unexpected benefits for families as the scandal could derail proposed “cap and trade” legislation (or similar environmental laws) which would dramatically increase the tax burden on American families. Sen. Inhofe (R-OK) has asked for a Senate investigation of the climate-change deception scandal.

"The science is settled," we've been told for decades by zealous proponents of man made global warming hysteria. I had the privilege to speak to demonstrators at the St. Joseph County T.E.A. (Tax Enough Already) Party in downtown South Bend, Indiana today. Citing the eminent conservative Edmund Burke, I told the crowd that one of the main reasons we were protesting is to stand up for generations “yet unborn.” We have a responsibility to future generations to be good stewards of our finances, tax policy, and free enterprise system, and must not mortgage our children’s futures so we can have irresponsible spending and policies today. This is a pro-family issue because if we make foolish decisions today it will be difficult, if not impossible, to provide tax relief for families in the future.

It was great to see other dedicated pro-lifers and pro-family activists in the crowd exercising their First Amendment rights to peaceably assemble and engage in free political speech.
