CNN and Politico report that debate has begun in Congress on a vote to repeal Obamacare with the actual vote to be held tomorrow.  Sen. Grassley indicates that if the repeal passes the house, it might not necessarily be “dead on arrival” in the Senate.

Meanwhile, LifeNews reports that polls show that voters still want the bill repealed or at least scaled back.

On January 22, 1973 the Supreme Court handed down the Roe v. Wade decision which, in a display of gross judicial activism and poor constitutional reasoning, swept away all meaningful restrictions on abortion.  Every year since pro-lifers have met on the National Mall in Washington, DC to protest the decision and then peacefully march to the Supreme Court, often praying for an end to abortion near the steps of the Court.

The newly elected Republican House majority has announced that it will push to hold an up-or-down vote on repealing Obamacare soon in the New Year and will also pursue an incremental strategy to repeal it piece-by-piece.  In addition to rolling back spending and the new health care law, the House GOP plans to fulfill its oversight responsibilities over the Obama administration vigorously.
